Energy production gains from solar panel cleaning vary based on system age, condition, panel orientation, weather patterns, accumulated debris, soiling levels, and other site-specific factors. Customer-reported recovery figures, kWh gains, and percentages shown on this site reflect specific jobs and individual customer experiences, they are not promises or guarantees of typical results for your system.

Industry soiling-loss ranges (e.g., 5–15% annually) cited on this site come from third-party research, including the U.S. Department of Energy's National Renewable Energy Laboratory (NREL). These ranges reflect general industry findings across many installations and do not guarantee that any individual system will recover the cited amount after cleaning.

The final scope, price, and expected outcome for your specific system will be confirmed in writing on job day before work begins.

• Cancellations with 24+ hours notice: No charge.
• Cancellations less than 24 hours before the scheduled service: 25% of quoted job total may apply to cover travel and held route time.
• Weather: If unsafe weather (high winds, lightning, ice) is forecast, I will reschedule at no charge to either party.
• Estimates: Custom quotes are valid for 30 days from the date issued. Final price is confirmed in writing on job day before work begins.
• Payment: Due in full on the day of service for residential jobs. I accept Cash, Check, Card, ACH, and PayPal. Net-30 invoicing is available for commercial, agricultural, and government accounts.

Solar Alchemist LLC carries $2M general liability insurance covering bodily injury and property damage during the course of service.

I follow methods matched to each panel manufacturer's cleaning instructions (soft rotary brush chosen from the manufacturer's own manual, pole-fed 100% deionized water first, a panel-specific biodegradable soap only for heavy soiling where the manufacturer allows it, no pressure washing) for all jobs. While I take every reasonable precaution to protect your roof, panels, and surrounding property, customers acknowledge that solar panels are installed at height on a privately owned structure and that I am not liable for pre-existing damage to the roof, panels, mounting hardware, electrical conduit, or any system component that I did not directly cause through my own actions.

I document the condition of every system with before-and-after photos on every visit.

I serve the Wisconsin DHS Southern Region, a 15-county Southern Wisconsin footprint anchored on Madison. Counties served: Adams, Columbia, Crawford, Dane, Dodge, Grant, Green, Iowa, Juneau, Lafayette, Marquette, Richland, Rock, Sauk, Vernon. I do not service outside Southern Wisconsin, every job I take on is inside the 15-county Wisconsin DHS Southern Region.

Jefferson County travel add-on: Jefferson County, Wisconsin (Fort Atkinson, Watertown, Jefferson, Lake Mills, and surrounding municipalities) is served as a Zone 2 travel add-on from my Madison base — same written-quote process as the rest of the footprint, same workmanship, same documentation.

Explicitly out-of-footprint: Walworth County, Wisconsin, and any out-of-Wisconsin address are not served. Those addresses sit outside the Wisconsin DHS Southern Region. If you're in Walworth County, I'd rather tell you up front than take a job I can't do justice to from Madison — message me and I'll point you to a reputable local operator when one is on my radar.

Larger commercial, agricultural, and government jobs outside this radius are reviewed case-by-case. Contact me to ask about service in your area.

Commercial and government quotes are custom and not displayed on this site. All commercial bids include a site walk, panel count verification, access review, and a written scope-of-work prior to scheduling.

When you submit a quote request, I collect your name, email, phone number, address, and any details you choose to share about your solar system. This information is used only to respond to your inquiry, prepare your custom quote, and schedule service. I do not sell, rent, or share your personal information with third parties for marketing purposes.
