Energy production gains from solar panel cleaning vary based on system age, condition, panel orientation, weather patterns, accumulated debris, soiling levels, and other site-specific factors. Customer-reported recovery figures, kWh gains, and percentages shown on this site reflect specific jobs and individual customer experiences — they are not promises or guarantees of typical results for your system.

Industry soiling-loss ranges (e.g., 15–25%) cited on this site come from third-party research, including the U.S. Department of Energy's National Renewable Energy Laboratory (NREL). These ranges reflect general industry findings across many installations and do not guarantee that any individual system will recover the cited amount after cleaning.

The final scope, price, and expected outcome for your specific system will be discussed during your no-obligation site assessment.

• Cancellations with 24+ hours notice: No charge.
• Cancellations less than 24 hours before the scheduled service: 25% of quoted job total may apply to cover travel and held route time.
• Weather: If unsafe weather (high winds, lightning, ice) is forecast, we will reschedule at no charge to either party.
• Estimates: Custom quotes are valid for 30 days from the date issued. Final price is confirmed upon on-site assessment.
• Payment: Due in full on the day of service. We accept Cash, Check, Card, and ACH.

Solar Alchemist LLC carries general liability insurance covering bodily injury and property damage during the course of service. Certificate of Insurance available upon request.

We follow manufacturer-approved cleaning methods (soft rotary brush heads, biodegradable soap, 100% deionized water, no pressure washing, no harsh chemicals) for all jobs. While we take every reasonable precaution to protect your roof, panels, and surrounding property, customers acknowledge that solar panels are installed at height on a privately owned structure and that we are not liable for pre-existing damage to the roof, panels, mounting hardware, electrical conduit, or any system component that we did not directly cause through negligence.

We document the condition of every system with before-and-after photos on every visit.

We serve a 75-mile radius from Madison, Wisconsin, covering Southern Wisconsin and Northern Illinois. Counties served include Dane, Rock, Green, Iowa, Jefferson, Walworth, Sauk, Columbia (WI) and Winnebago, Boone, McHenry, Stephenson (IL).

Commercial and government quotes are custom and not displayed on this site. All commercial bids include a site walk, panel count verification, access review, and a written scope-of-work prior to scheduling.

When you submit a quote request, we collect your name, email, phone number, address, and any details you choose to share about your solar system. This information is used only to respond to your inquiry, prepare your custom quote, and schedule service. We do not sell, rent, or share your personal information with third parties for marketing purposes.
